Passing Of A Loved One

Bro. Billy was a well liked man.

He walked holding onto Jesus’ hand.

Always so cheerful and friendly to all.

Yesterday he answered God’s call.



We are all so sad that he was called away.

But we know that he is rejoicing today.

For he has gone to be with our Lord above.

His ticket was paid through Jesus’ love.



Family and friends are grieving today.

Living for the day that we will be called away.

And when we cross that great divide,

He will welcome us to the other side.



I can picture his face in my mind,

The face that was always so kind.

A helping hand he was always ready to lend

I am happy to say that he was our friend.



So thank you, God, for the times we shared,

With Billy Herman, who truly cared.

Be with Jannie and others so dear,

Let them know that You are always near.
