The lesson in brief.
Now is the best time to begin doing the work of God. Begin today to do what God has chosen you to do. "Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it" Psalm 90:17
Have you quit doing the work of the Lord? Did you wake up one morning and realize you had let your service for the Lord lapse by the wayside? NOW, RIGHT NOW, is the time to start working for Him again! Recommit yourself to God and his work...and GET TO WORK!
What is your work for the Lord? Maybe it is prayer, telling others about Jesus, teaching sunday school, working in the nursery...It is whatever God lays on your heart.
If you respond to God's call to do His work, you have God's promise of His presence and power. (Matt 28:19-20) He is the One who can give you a vision of a blessed future and fill your heart with zeal and anticipation of seeing that vision realized.
